Being the owner of an irobot roomba we expected the same high quality function from the braava. Whilst i cannot rate the roomba highly enough, i have very little positive to say about the braava. It's progress is slow, it's cleaning area limited, it only really wipes the floor, the water cartridge is tiny and runs out very quickly, it doesn't do the edges and it's progress around the room is slow. We watch it painfully making it's way back and forward across the room and just want to grab a mop to do the job.
Having to continually refill the water, change the cloth and recharge the braava is more time consuming than it would be to clean the floor with a bucket and mop - and at over £200 a bucket and mop seems a much better option.

If want a quick clean can use the dry mopping feature with a damp/wet cloth. Can also use floor wet wipes. For a more thorough clean would use the wet mopping feature. Using a wet wipe or damp cloth is more effective than a dry cloth/wipe as hair or dirt is picked up more. But would recommend vacuuming or sweeping floor before using the robot. Good for maintaining clean floors and can reach into hard areas, like under bed, sofa, cupboards, tables and chairs. The machine is very quiet. .
